It's a way of entering into the quiet that's already there - buried under the 50,000 thoughts the average person thinks every day." -Deepak Chopra, M.D. Practiced for thousand of years, meditation is a tool for rediscovering the body's own inner intelligence. Primordial Sound Meditation uses individually selected sounds of nature called mantras to disconnect us from the activity of life. These primordial sounds are based on the vibration the universe was creating at the moment of your birth. Ayurveda considers seasonal cleanses (also known as ritucharya) essential for maintaining balance and health throughout the year. Each season brings changes in temperature, humidity, and daylight that affect the three doshas - Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. These shifts can cause doshic imbalances, leading to toxins (ama) accumulating in the body and impairing digestion and immunity. Cleanses are a way to reset the body and mind, promoting the elimination of ama and restoring the strength of agni (digestive fire). Typically done during seasonal transitions - especially spring and fall - they help the body adjust to environmental changes, clear excess dosha build up and support rejuvenation. By aligning with nature's rhythms, seasonal cleanes support long-term vitality, prevent disease, and deepen mind-body awareness.
Cleanses are a very important component of living an Ayurvedic lifestyle, they align with the body's natural rhythms and seasonal transitions. Each Season brings different doshic imbalances, and following a cleanse helps to reset digestion, immunity, and vitality. The Spring Cleanse takes place post-winter and pre-summer, after winter, Kapha energy (heavy, damp, sluggish) accumulates from heavier foods, less activity and cold weather. As spring warms, excess Kapha can show up as congestion, allergies, sluggish digestion, and weight gain. The focus of the spring cleanse is lightening, stimulating, and detoxifying. It reduces heaviness, clears stagnation, and re-ignites (digestive fire). Book a Free Discovery Zoom to learn more details PDF's will be provided with lifetime access.

The Fall Cleanse takes place post-summer and pre-winter, after summer's heat which is considered Pitta accumulation, the body often feels overheated, inflamed, or depleted. Entering fall and early winter, Vata energy (light, dry, cold, mobile) rises, which can disturb digestion and nervous system balance. The fall cleanse focuses on grounding, cooling and nourishment. Shirodhara is a simple, yet profound treatment that works specifically on balancing and stabilizing the activity of the mind. Warm, dosha specific oils and herbs are beautifully streamed over the Anja Chakra or third eye, this causes the release of seratonin, which deeply relaxes the body, melting tensions and alleviating discomfort in the head, neck and shoulder area. This can result in feelings of pleasure, inner balance and mental clarity.
Foot massage is believed to protect us from disease and trouble and to bring peace and prosperity. Balancing for all doshas (especially Pitta), benefits include feeling grounded and rejuvenated. This treatment includes foot soak and exfoliation, two types of lower leg/foot massage and application of Ubtan powder to absorb toxins released into oil.
In Ayurdeda, Svedhana (sweat therapy) is a key follow-up to detox or digestive reset because it helps remove deep-seated toxins (ama) that have been loosened during cleansing. After detox the body's channels (srotas) are more open, and the digestive fire (agni) is rekindeld - but some impurities may still linger in the tissues. Svedhana uses heat to encourage these remaining toxins to move from the deeper layers of the body to the surface, where they can be more easily eliminated. Svedhana acts as a bridge between detox and rejuvenation. It supports full elimination of toxins, stabilizes the system, and prepares the body for rebuilding strength and vitality post-cleanse. Compliments many weight-loss programs as a stand alone treatment.
